Write Options

The Write options window allow the user to select new capabilities for the WRITE and AFWRITE commands. Initially the ACS-SASSI User Interface was designed to be a replacement Prep with no changes to the WRITE and AFWRITE commands. However due larger model sizes, it is necessary to expand the fixed integer field size 5 to be increased to 6 for some module input generated by WRITE. Options were also added to the WRITE command to help users with model analysis in batch. If no options form this window are selected the AFWRITE and WRITE command will write the same files as the commands from PREP.

 Write Options window

  • MDL command in *.pre - Add the MDL command to the end of the .pre written by WRITE/ Model>Output Menu option.
  • Extend Integer fields - AFWRITE will create modules with integer 6 fields. This allow users to create models with more that 100000 nodes. Running these models requires modules with the capability to read the integer 6 fields.
  • AFWR in *.Pre - Add the AFWR command to the end of the .pre written by WRITE/ Model>Output Menu option.
  • Simulation Commands - Create commands to run the modules that user selected for analysis when Write/Model>Output is used.
    • Write to *-Sim.pre - write commands to a separate modelname-Sim.pre file
    • Write to *.pre - write command to the end of the model.pre
