Soil Mesh is a user interface that can read and write pre file in a similar way to Prep. Soil Mesh is used to create a soil field model past the excavation for soil pressure analysis using the ANSYS® interface. The Soil pressure model is created with the SOILMESH command. The user then could combine the original and the soil mesh model by loading both into Prep memory at the same time then write the ANSYS® input.

Later version of Soil Mesh have the converters functionality built in to the Soil Mesh.

As of ACS-SASSI v3.0.0 the Soil Mesh has been retired. Soil Mesh is no long included in the installation package. All of Soil Mesh functionality can be found in the ACS-SASSI User Interface.
