VARAVE,<Var>,<abs>

Calculate the average of all the data elements for a single variable. All of the elements will be converted to and the average will be reported as a floating point number. The average will be reported to the Command history screen. The <abs> flag has been included so the user can choose to calculate the average of the actual values of the elements or the average of the absolute value of each element. Using a variable with non numeric data elements will cause an error to be reported to the Command History window.

• Var - Variable name
• abs - flag
  • 0 - Use actual values of the data elements for the average.
  • 1 - Use absolute values of the data elements for the average.
