MERGESOIL,<Struct>,<Soil>,[Mode],[Stiff],<Mapping>

Merge a Structural and excavation volume model together in an active model. Allows user to create a model for plotting when using the ANSYS® capability. Similar to the Merge command. All elements in the soil model will be converted into soil elements and the materials will be converted to soil layers. See the MergeSoil Example for usage.

• Struct – Model Number of the Structure
• Soil – Model Number of the Excavation volume
• Mode - merging nodes on the structure excavation interface
  • 0 = 0 sided
  • 1 = 4 sided (default)
  • 2 = Spring Interface Connection
• Stiff - Stiffness Constant for Springs in Mode 2. (Default = 10⁷)
• Mapping - Mapping file for the merge
