INTGEN Command

INTGEN,<type>,[level skip]

Interaction node generation is a way for the user to quickly change a model from flexible volume to flexible interface or vice versa. The user must remove the interaction nodes that had previously been defined using the INT command or the INTGEN 0 option to zero all interaction nodes. Then the user can use the INTGEN command to generate the interaction nodes based on the excavation volume and the type option of the command. The excavation volume must be explicitly defied by ETYPE or ETYPEGEN command for options 1-3 and 5. If the ETYPE of the elements is left to default this command will not work.

  • type – Type of iteration node generation
    • 0 Set all nodes to non interaction
    • 1 Flexible Volume
    • 2 Flexible interface with Top
    • 3 Flexible interface without top
    • 4 Surface Interaction
    • 5 Flexible interface/volume hybrid Vertical levels
  • level skip - number of levels skipped between interaction node levels (default = 1)
