====== Soil Mesh ======

===== Overview =====

Soil Mesh is a user interface that can read and write [[file:pre]] file in a similar way to [[SASSI:Prep]]. Soil Mesh is used to create a soil field model past the excavation for soil pressure analysis using the [[:legal|ANSYS]](r) interface. The Soil pressure model is created with the [[com:SOILMESH]] command. The user then could combine the original and the soil mesh model by loading both into Prep memory at the same time then write the ANSYS(r) input.

Later version of Soil Mesh have the [[SASSI:converters]] functionality built in to the Soil Mesh.

===== Retirement =====

As of ACS-SASSI v3.0.0 the Soil Mesh has been retired. Soil Mesh is no long included in the installation package. All of Soil Mesh functionality can be found in the [[SASSI:ACS-SASSI User Interface]].
