====== MERGESOIL Command ======

MERGESOIL,<Struct>,<Soil>,[Mode],[Stiff],<Mapping>

Merge a Structural and excavation volume model together in an active model. Allows user to create a model for plotting when using the [[:Legal|ANSYS]](r) capability. Similar to the [[com:Merge]] command. All elements in the soil model will be converted into soil elements and the materials will be converted to soil layers. See the [[example:merge| MergeSoil Example]] for usage.

  * Struct – Model Number of the Structure
  * Soil – Model Number of the Excavation volume
  * Mode - merging nodes on the structure excavation interface 
    * 0 = 0 sided 
    * 1 = 4 sided (default)
    * 2 = Spring Interface Connection
  * Stiff - Stiffness Constant for Springs in Mode 2. (Default = 10<sup>7</sup>)   
  * Mapping - Mapping file for the merge
